【Participation in the 2nd Annual Meeting of APEC Financial Institutions Dealing with SMEs】

　 平成17年7月21日、中国の北京で、ＡＰＥＣ ＭＯＵ（ＡＰＥＣ域内の中小企業金融に携わる金融機関間の協力に関する覚書）に基づく第2回年次会合が開催されました。
　 中国国家開発銀行の主催により、新規加盟のフィリピンプランターズ開発銀行を含む13機関が参加し、各機関の活動報告などとともに、加盟機関間の金融分野での協力関係強化に向けたプログラムなどについて議論が行われました。
　 会議に続き、22日にはシンポジウムが行われ、当公庫は塚原理事が「日本における中小企業金融の最近の発展」について発表を行いました。

　 同会議は、平成15年9月に締結されたＡＰＥＣ　ＭＯＵに基づき、毎年開催されるものです。同覚書は、ＡＰＥＣ域内の中小企業金融に携わる金融機関により締結されたもので、情報交換や人材育成等での連携の促進等を図るため、相互に協力する旨を定めています。

The 2nd Annual Meeting of APEC Financial Institutions Dealing with SMEs was held on July 21, 2005 in Beijing, Peoples Republic of China.
This Annual Meeting was hosted by the China Development Bank, and was joined by 13 signatory member parties, including the Planters Development Bank of the Philippines, whose participation was unanimously welcomed during this meeting. Along with the discussion on the past activities and future plans of cooperation among the signatory parties, further discussion on programs to enhance cooperation among financial sectors of the member parties took place.
On the following day, “APEC Conference on Better Environment for Financing, Stronger Development of SMEs”was held, and Mr. Osamu Tsukahara (Managing Director of JASME) delivered a presentation titled “Recent Development in SME Finance in Japan.”（PDF 189KB）

This Annual Meeting is held annually based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on SME Cooperation, which states mutual cooperation promoted by exchanging information, developing human resources, etc. This MOU was signed by 12 institutions in charge of SME financing within the APEC regions in September 2005 at Phuket, Thailand.
