【第19回ACSIC会議に参加】

　2006年11月19日（日）から22日（水）までマレーシア・クアラルンプールにおいて第19回アジア中小企業信用補完制度実施機関連合（Asian Credit Supplementation Institution Confederation, ACSIC）会議がマレーシア信用保証公社の主催によって開催されました。
　「市場主導型の環境下における信用保証制度：自立した制度になるための課題」とのテーマの下、同会議には10カ国1地域16機関から97名が参加し、中小公庫からは水口総裁、斎藤理事外5名が参加しました。11月20日（月）に開催された首席代表者会議には水口総裁が出席し、次回会議の開催地や来年ＡＣＳＩＣ会議の２０周年を記念して採択される「ＡＣＳＩＣ宣言」の内容等についての協議が行われました。また首席代表者会議に続いて行われた全体会議では斎藤理事が「信用補完制度におけるリスク対応」というテーマでプレゼンテーションを行いました。
　ACSICは中小企業信用補完制度実施機関による情報交換等、相互交流を図ることにより、アジア地域内の中小企業信用補完制度の健全な発展に資することを目的として1988年に創設されました。
　次回の第20回ACSIC会議は来年11月にインドネシアの加盟機関の共催の下、インドネシア・バリ島での開催が予定されています。

【Participation in the 19th ACSIC Conference】

　The 19th Asian Credit Supplementation Institution Confederation (ACSIC) Conference was successfully held from November 19th to 22nd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia hosted by the Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad.
　Under the theme “Credit Guarantee in a Market-Driven Environment: The Challenge of being Self-Sustainable”, 97 delegates of 16 member institutions from 10 countries/economies took part and JASME’s President Mr. Koichi Minaguchi and Managing Director Mr. Takashi Saito along with 5 other staffs attended this conference. Mr. Minaguchi attended the Chief Delegate’s Meeting on November 20th, where the discussion on the issues such as the host institution for the next conference and the details of the “ACSIC Declaration” that is to be adopted celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ACSIC next year took part. At the plenary session, which was held after the Chief Delegate’s Meeting, Mr. Saito delivered a presentation titled “Response to Credit Risks in the Supplementation System.”
ACSIC was established in 1988 to promote the sound development of the credit supplementation system for SMEs in the Asian regions through exchange of information and discussions among small business credit supplementation institutions.
　The 20th ACSIC Conference is scheduled to be held in November 2007 co-hosted by the member institutions in Indonesia.
