【インド工業連盟（CII）会長と会談】

　2006年6月15日（木）、水口総裁は来日中のインド工業連盟（CII、日本における経団連に相当）セシャサイ会長と会談し、日印間の中小企業レベルでの関係強化について意見交換を行いました。
　席上、水口総裁は日本の中小企業の対印投資を促進するため、2006年5月2日訪印時に締結した覚書に基づき、日印間の貿易及び投資促進に必要な情報を相互に交換していくことを確認するとともに、ジェトロ・ニューデリーセンターに職員を派遣し、現地の情報をお取引先に提供していくことを表明しました。

（上記の内容については二階経済産業大臣とインドのナート商工大臣との間で合意された「日印共同ステートメント」に盛り込まれています。）

【Meeting with Confederation of Indian Industry】

　On June 15, 2006, President Mr. Minaguchi met with Mr. R Seshasayee, President of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII, corresponding to Japan Federation of Economic Organizations), and exchanged views on strengthening relationships between Japan and India on SMEs.
　To encourage Japanese SMEs to invest in India, Mr. Minaguchi confirmed that JASME and CII would exchange useful information for promoting bilateral trade and investment based on the MOU concluded on May 2, 2006 in CII’s office in India, and that JASME would dispatch one of its officials to JETRO’s New Delhi Center to provide local information for JASME’s clients.
